Project description: Holistic and Integrated Development Area: 75.000 hectares Accessibility: The site is between 2 navigable rivers (Kwango and Lonzo), which join the Congo river all the way down to Kinshasa. The site is at 44 Kilometers from the national road 1 ; Energy : 56 Mw drawn from cable 220 kV Maluku-Bandundu Estimated project cost : 10,000,000 USD.

Infrastructure

This project involves the complete renewal of the track (ballast, rails, sleepers and fastenings) in the track between. This project aims at facilitating the seaworthiness of vessels in the western part of the Republic and in turn foreign trade. Indeed, this project will ensure the dry-up of floating units (dredges, buoy-layers, etc.), to reduce the detention rate of dredges and servitude units assigned to different jobs in the maritime reach of the Congo River, to increase the effectiveness of intervention for maintenance. Estimated project cost : 10,000,000 USD. Location : Former Province of Katanga.

Energy

The project has several localities and farms of plateau of Bateke located between Menkao to Mbankana. To power the latter locality, it will be necessary to draw a 30 kV line of 33 km long from the last 132 kV pylon line of Maluku Mutiene. The electrification will be done by injection of 30 kV voltages from Maluku station on 132 kV three-phase transmission wire Maluku-Mutiene and establishment of a 30 / 0.4 kV distribution network. Investment cost: $ 14,859,982 Location: Matadi, DRC

This project aims at rehabilitating the access road to the park of Virunga and other places of interest of North Kivu. The work involves the rehabilitation of the roadbed, reloading and drainage by opening longitudinal grooves and drainage channels, creating settling ponds at appropriate places, cleaning culverts and nozzles, bridges and civil engineering structures, etc. This project is to contribute to the viability of the Virunga Park by making the flow of traffic on the tourist highway from Rutshuru to Itshasha Project Cost : $ 2,520,000 and Location: Virunga Park, Goma DRC
